WINNER ANNOUNCED: Mental Health Photography Competition 2020

You showed us your creativity and how you choose to take time for your mental health!

In support of Mental Health Week and more broadly Mental Health Month, we invited you to submit photographs using the hashtag #HealtheCareMHphoto to show us how YOU choose to prioritise your mental health.

Whether it be spending more quality time with your family, pets or out in nature; rearranging your home; or starting a new hobby, show us how you prioritise your well-being and make your mental health matter!

Congratulations to Brendan Vaughn who has won our Healthe Care Mental Health Photo Competition.

Across the month of October Brendan took time to prioritise his own mental health by getting healthy, spending time outdoors and committing to 10,000 steps per day! He values spending time with his loved ones who helped him achieve his mental health goal.

"We often take care of others first yet we always take for granted our own mental health. I've been thinking about what I can do to improve mine lately and for me, it's been committing myself to walk 10,000 steps a day. Today I also included my family for my mini bushwalk. Being in nature with people I love while achieving my goal made today a good day," said Brendan.
