Veteran Accounts and Entitlements

If you're an eligible veteran or war widow, you won't have any personal expenses for treatment at South Coast Private Hospital and you won't receive an account.

You will, however, be charged for pharmacy and personal items not related to your admission diagnosis.

Types of Accommodation

We offer comfortable rooms with private ensuite facilities. Our patient rooms are in a safe private environment to assist healing while our inpatients complete their therapy and recovery. Our quality accommodation, amenities and facilities make South Coast Private Hospital an exclusive mental health hospital destination in the care and recovery of our patients.

We have a dedicated level for Australian Defence Force, Department of Veterans’ Affairs and Emergency Services inpatients. You may start your admissions on an alternative floor pending on availability.

Transport to and from Hospital

Some veteran patients are eligible to have transport arranged for them through the DVA.

Patients can pre-arrange transport vouchers with their General Practitioner prior to their admission to cover their journey to and from Hospital.

Alternatively, please contact the DVA.
