South Coast Private Hospital is thrilled to present ‘Harmony’ an art exhibition featuring a diverse range of patient artworks.
This year’s exhibition will take place on Harmony Day, recognising inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. Harmony Day encourages us to participate in our community, respect cultural and religious diversity and foster sense of belonging for all.
We welcome submissions from past consumers, inpatients, outpatients and staff. Celebrating creativity at all stages, whether you are a beginner, seasoned artist or an emerging creative. We welcome you to showcase all art forms including; painting, sculptures, poetry, writing, photography, ceramics or textiles.

These awards honour artists’ dedication, passion, and unique visions. The competition features six categories, so whether you are a seasoned artist or an emerging creative, you will have an opportunity to showcase your talents. The award categories include:
A judging panel will select a finalist within each award category. Award Prizes Awards will be given in recognition of the artwork exhibited with presentations made during the opening event on Friday 21st March, 2025 4pm – 6pm.
This award recognises artistic achievement or contribution centred on the theme of Harmony.
This category it open to any emerging artists, at early or hobbyist stages of your art journey. If you don’t fit within this criteria, you may be considered for the other award categories.
This award recognises artistic achievement or contribution by an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person. To be eligible for the award, the artist must personally identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. The prize encourages artistic creativity, and raises awareness of the experiences and talent of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Recognises artistic achievement, contribution or creativity of service personnel. Eligibility: open to current and former service personnel including ADF, DVA and emergency services. The prize encourages artistic creativity, and raises awareness of the experiences and talent of service personnel.
This award recognises the artistic achievement the subject of LGBTQIA+ pride in any form. Artists are free to apply their own interpretation in representing the theme.
This award offers exhibition viewers the opportunity to vote for their favourite art piece. Voted by attending guests at the opening event on Friday 21st March, 2025, 4pm – 6pm. All submissions eligible.
