Annelise Grey

Professional background

Annelise Grey is a clinical psychologist with training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Gottman Method Couples Therapy and EMDR. Annelise has run both inpatient and outpatient groups at South Coast Private Hospital. She currently facilitates the Dual Diagnosis day program.

Annelise adapts her approach to suit each client’s particular needs and strengths. She believes in each person’s ability to heal and grow, and is passionate about helping her clients better understand – and have compassion for – themselves and others.

With empathy and warmth, Annelise works collaboratively with her clients to foster curiosity, hope, empowerment, psychological flexibility, pleasure and meaning in their lives.

When she’s not in the clinic or at the hospital, Annelise enjoys watching TV, adding books to her massive to read pile (and occasionally reading one of them), and pretending she’s a better musician than she actually is by playing the drums along to her favourite songs.
