Professional background
Gabrielle Sivertsen is a Senior Psychologist and 2IC with a wide range of experience and training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused, and EMDR.
With a strong passion for forensics and criminology, this led towards a PhD journey with a topic focus on discovering the gaps within the mental health care system in NSW with the hope of proposing a new strategy that can provide more support within the community for all and reduce the gaps in mental health care.
Gabrielle became a psychologist because of an interest in how different diagnosis and disorders can affect behaviours.
Outside of work, Gabrielle enjoys spending time with friends and family and also enjoys; crochet and knitting, gardening, swimming and traveling.
