Professional background
Zachary Churchill is a clinical psychologist and is trained in several therapeutic modalities including Psychodynamic Therapy, ACT, CBT and DBT. As a psychologist, Zach believes in the importance of being genuine, building strong therapeutic relationships, and adapting to each person’s individual needs. Zach is interested in working with a range of different psychological issues including mood and anxiety, addiction, OCD, distress, suicidal ideation and selfharm, and those with relationship difficulties. He chooses to work with a range of different psychological issues, as he believes in the importance of adapting to the needs of the community. Zach also believes in the power of building longer-term therapeutic relationships with those with more complex mental health issues such as personality disorder and complex trauma Outside of work, Zach has a strong passion for sport. He loves and has played most sports, and before entering the field of psychology, has trained as an elite athlete in cricket. Zach also loves the beach, and enjoys spending time with his dog, Honey.
