We're Here for You This Holiday Season

As the festive season approaches, South Coast Private Hospital extends warm wishes to our community. Whether you're celebrating with loved ones or navigating a more difficult time, we want you to know that we’re here to support you throughout Christmas and New Year.

We understand that the holidays can be a time of joy, but also a time of stress, loneliness, or emotional difficulty. That’s why we encourage you to start planning now for any support you or your loved ones may need during the holiday period. Our team is here to help you prepare and ensure you have access to the care you need.

Open Throughout the Holidays

South Coast Private Hospital will remain open for inpatient services across the Christmas and New Year period. If you or someone close to you needs mental health support, our team is ready to assist.

Inpatient Mental Health Programs

  • Self-Compassion is a 3-week hospital stay program, designed to support your recovery and help prevent relapse over the holiday season. This end of the program aims to enhance your mental wellbeing by applying the principles of Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). You will learn how to use compassionate practise to manage challenging emotions such as anger, shame and fear, while building resilience. If you have participated in mental health programs throughout the year, this program offers the opportunity to apply the skills you have learnt through the lens of recovery maintenance to promote long-term wellbeing and relapse prevention.
  • The Managing Distress program and Addictions program will continue to run with our complimentary therapies such as Art Therapy, and Yoga.
  • Our ward for first responders, veterans and defence will remain open.
